The S655 Adjustable Mattress Base by Malouf, is our mid-level model, that is, it is the better model of our good, better, best selection. All of our adjustable mattress bases have just about every feature you could ask for: each comes in a stone color linen-textured upholstered base that can stand on its own legs with extensions reaching a maximum height of 15 inches, or use it in your existing bed frame as you would a boxspring. Since it needs no additional clearance, it can sit directly on a platform bed base, bed slats, or even the floor.
