The M555 Adjustable Mattress Base by Malouf, is our starting model, that is, it is the good model of our good, better, best selection. All of our adjustable mattress bases have just about every feature you could ask for: each comes in a stone color linen-textured upholstered base that can stand on its own legs with extensions reaching a maximum height of 15 inches, or use it in your existing bed frame as you would a boxspring. Since it needs no additional clearance, it can sit directly on a platform bed base, bed slats, or even the floor.

Additional Features
Additional features include 5 preset positions (Zero Gravity, Anti-Snore, Lounge, TV, and Flat) and six programmable positions that can be customized and saved to match your personal preference. The luxurious massage feature gives you four types, three intensities, and three time settings. Our wireless LED backlit remote control is motion activated so you can simply pick up the remote to light up the buttons. And the underbed LED lights cast a warm glow bright enough for you to see, but soft enough so you stay relaxed. This base also includes a backup battery to power your base in the event of a power outage.
Warranty
Adjustable Bases 20 Year WarrantyMalouf, the manufacturer, offers a warranty which runs for up to twenty (20) years on allStructures™ Adjustable Bases from the date of purchase, according to the tiers set forth below:
YEAR 1:Warranty covers defects in the workmanship or materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Malouf® will send replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser, and Malouf® will pay all authorized labor and transportation costs associated with the repair or replacement of any parts.
YEARS 2-5:During the years two (2) through five (5) from the date of purchase, Malouf® will offer replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement of the defective part(s).
YEARS 6-20:During the years six (6) through twenty (20) Malouf® will offer replacement parts for any mechanical bed part (excluding electronics, electrical components, drive motors, and massage motors). Purchaser shall pay 1/15th of the replacement cost of the defective part multiplied by the number of years since 5 years after the warranty commencement date, and Malouf® shall bear the remainder of the cost of the replacement part. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement of the defective part(s)
